Responsibilities

• 1、Strategic Planning: Track global cutting-edge molecular discovery and optimization technologies; support new drug target selection and external collaborations; lead medicinal chemistry top-level design, from target screening, molecular design, synthesis optimization to PCC determination; drive efficient project progression.
• 2、Technical Guidance & Innovation: Conduct SAR studies; optimize lead compounds using multidimensional data; provide technical guidance and solve key R&D challenges; promote innovation and methodology iteration to enhance core competitiveness.
• 3、IP Management: Participate in patent drafting and strategy; develop compound IP protection strategies to mitigate risks; monitor industry patent trends and conduct analyses to support R&D direction.

Requirements

• 1、Education: PhD in medicinal chemistry, organic chemistry, chemical biology or related fields.
• 2、Experience: ≥8 years in medicinal chemistry R&D, ≥5 years in innovative drug discovery; pharma/CRO background preferred.
• 3、Project Track Record: As project leader, completed ≥3 full projects from target initiation to PCC, with ≥2 advanced to clinical stage; IND experience preferred.
• 4、Professional Competence: Proficient in small molecule design, synthesis and SAR; familiar with China/US regulatory requirements; skilled in CADD/AIDD tools; capable of patent analysis and circumvention.
• 5、Comprehensive Skills: Excellent team management, cross-functional coordination and resource allocation capabilities; strong execution and problem-solving skills.
• 6、Language: Fluent in English for reading and writing scientific literature and technical reports.
